About Sean Leahy

I've been passionate about photography since childhood, always carrying a camera. Over the last 15 years I have developed a passion for photographing wildlife, with a focus on bird photography.

 In the last 15 years I have moved form New England to North Carolina and have travel to Central and south America, Ireland, Australia and Africa. In those travels, I have learned a lot about photographing birds, Manual and landscape.   

​Behind the Scenes:

As a wildlife photographer, I have worked with a wide range of lenses and cameras. Currently, I use a Canon R6 paired with the Canon RF 200-800mm lens. All my image processing is done in Adobe Lightroom, as I rarely utilize Photoshop; my preference is to maintain the natural integrity of my wildlife images. I strive to achieve my desired results in-camera, avoiding digital manipulation to ensure my subjects are depicted authentically, capturing a genuine moment as intended in traditional photography.
